FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for manufacturing parts from a lead-free copper alloy for conductive gas or water pipelines that have complex geometry. A method for manufacturing parts from a copper alloy containing, by weight %: 3.0 ≤ Sn ≤ 8, 1.3 ≤ Zn ≤ 6, 0.1 ≤ S ≤ 0.7, if necessary, P not more than 0.2, if necessary, Sb not more than 0.1 and, if necessary, at least one of Fe, Zr and B not more than 0.3, and the rest being copper and unavoidable impurities, and the method includes the following steps: (a) melting the copper alloy, (b) manufacturing blanks from the copper alloy and (c) heating the blanks to a pressing temperature of 750-900°C, holding for 2 s to 10 min and pressing at this temperature to obtain a grain size of less than 100 mcm in an area of at least 200 mcm from the surface of the manufactured parts. The manufactured part has a wall thickness in at least some areas ranging from 0.5 to 6.0 mm and is used as a part of gas or water pipes, in particular a fitting or fittings for drinking water pipes.

EFFECT: parts have high corrosion resistance and high density under pressure.
