FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: used in piping compressor shops during the main gas transport through a multi-line gas pipeline system, in particular for drying process pipelines. A method for drying process pipelines of a compressor shop, which consists in filling the process system of the compressor shop with gas, and drying the gas pipelines of the compressor shop is carried out with dry gas from the outlet of the adjacent compressor shop through the inter-shop fuel manifold, with the gradual displacement of wet gas into the main gas pipeline through the bypass of the outlet valve of the compressor shop and compliance with the standard value of the gas moisture dew point temperature is not higher than minus 10°C in the main gas pipeline.
EFFECT: no power resources are required to launch gas pumping units to the shop loop and release natural gas into the atmosphere.
