FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: air-cooled permanent magnet drum contains a stator assembly and a heat dissipation unit containing a steel cylinder and cooling fins. The steel cylinder on the inner wall is equipped with mounting grooves of variable shape to ensure pressing contact with the side surface of the cooling fin. The heat dissipation unit according to the present invention is mainly designed for the stator assembly. Providing mounting grooves for riveting the cooling fins on the inner wall of the steel cylinder can reduce the amount of welding material and the use of the welding torch during welding, so that the problem of spacing between the cooling fins can be eliminated, and many cooling fins can be formed on the inner wall of the steel cylinder. Since the inner wall of the steel cylinder and the cooling fins serve as heat dissipation surfaces, increasing the number of evenly distributed cooling fins allows the heat dissipation surface area to be increased, which directly improves the heat dissipation effect in the electric machine.
EFFECT: improved heat dissipation in an electric machine.
