SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the transmission and reception of signals in a communication system. To provide the ability to selectively cancel specific uplink transmissions in the event of a conflict with another uplink transmission, the user equipment containing the transceiver receives a priority level indicator to be enforced. The circuit compares the priority level of the first uplink transmission with the specified priority level to be enforced. Moreover, the first uplink transmission is allowed by the UE before scheduling the second uplink transmission, which is assigned resources that overlap with the resources assigned to the first uplink transmission. The transceiver, in operation, makes the first uplink transmission based on the comparison result.
EFFECT: provision of ability to selectively cancel specific uplink transmissions in the event of a conflict with another uplink transmission.
