SUBSTANCE: user equipment (hereinafter – UE) contains a processor and memory in electronic communication with the processor. Instructions stored in memory are made with the possibility of execution to obtain a radio resource control (hereinafter – RRC) configuration indicating a set of resource sets of a physical uplink control channel (hereinafter – PUCCH) and a set of acknowledgment (hereinafter – ACK) synchronization of a hybrid automatic request for data retransmission (hereinafter – HARQ). Instructions are also made with the possibility of execution to select, based on the indication of the PUCCH resource included in downlink control information (hereinafter – DCI), the PUCCH resource from the set of PUCCH resources. Instructions are additionally made with the possibility of execution to transmit uplink control information (UCI) over the selected PUCCH resource in an interval corresponding to the HARQ-ACK synchronization, which is specified from a HARQ-ACK synchronization set, by specifying the HARQ-ACK synchronization included in DCI. At the same time, after UE receives the RRC configuration, the PUCCH resource is selected, based on the indication of the PUCCH resource in the same DCI, from the set of PUCCH resources.
