FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of producing a depigmented allergen extract, to a composition, and a vaccine based on it. A method of producing a depigmented allergen extract, comprising the following: a) alkalizing the native allergen extract to a pH of 7 to 11 from 1 minute to 24 hours; then b) subjecting the said extract to a first molecular fraction removal step to remove molecules smaller than 3.5 kDa; and c) adjusting the pH to neutral to obtain a depigmented allergen extract. Depigmented allergen extract for the treatment of allergies. Depigmented polymerized allergen extract for the treatment of allergies. Pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of allergies, containing an allergen extract. A vaccine for the treatment of allergies containing an allergen extract.
EFFECT: depigmented allergen extract obtained by the method described above is characterized by an increased allergen content and increased biological activity.
