FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to reduce the water cut of products and level out the water-oil contact. A method has been declared for developing a massive type of water-flooded oil deposit, which includes allocating deposit areas with wells that are water-flooded to 65-85%. In this case, one well is selected, oil and water flow rates and reservoir pressure are measured in it. After that, the position of the water roof in the flooded areas is determined using geophysical methods. Then the number of swings in the flooded well is reduced, controlling the current flow rate, and it is brought to a mode with a lower flow rate that is at least profitable. Then the position of the water roof and the macrocrack through which water flows is determined using geophysical methods, perforation is carried out against the passage of the macrocrack and it is plugged with a thickener. Next, water cut is measured and, as the water cut decreases, additional oil extraction and a change in the current oil recovery factor are determined.
EFFECT: increase in oil recovery during the development of residual oil reserves in the peripheral part of a massive deposit with a water cut of the product from 65 to 85%.
