FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods for developing water-logged areas of an oil deposit, and can be used to level out the oil-water contact and more fully develop oil reserves. A method has been proposed for developing water-logged areas of an oil deposit, where areas with wells that are watered to 60-86% are specified as reservoir-type deposits. One well is selected and measurements of oil and water flow rates and reservoir pressure are carried out in it. Then the position of the oil-water contact in the flooded areas is determined using geophysical methods. Then they reduce the number of swings in the flooded well, controlling its current flow rate, and bring it to a mode with a lower flow rate that is at least profitable. After that, geophysical methods are used to determine the position of the oil-water contact and, when its level decreases, the rate of its decrease is calculated. Then they continue development with the purpose of enhanced recovery of the specific reserves of the well and the reserves of the site. These operations are carried out in all water-flooded wells in the area.
EFFECT: increased oil recovery factor.
