FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of load-bearing structures. A method for implementing a volumetric load-bearing rectangular structure involves connecting and/or attaching linear structural elements and/or their ends at connection nodes. Connection nodes containing 4 connections and/or connections of linear structural elements and/or their ends are replaced with two sequential T-type connection nodes, namely, containing no more than 3 connections of linear structural elements. The connected linear structural elements of each connection node are spatially located in one vertical or horizontal plane, which are conjugate and mutually perpendicular to each other, which makes it possible to form a three-dimensional rectangular structure.
EFFECT: reduction in stress concentration in the connection nodes of a volumetric load-bearing rectangular structure is achieved.
