FIELD: air treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for treating air in a confined space and, in particular, for reducing the concentration of radon in a confined space. A device for treating air in a confined space, comprising a first module and a second module connected telescopically so that the two modules can be slid relative to each other to adjust according to different thicknesses of the wall that separates the interior space from the exterior space. The device contains: a heat exchanger located in the first module; a first fan located in the first module downstream of the filter to supply air from the outside to the inside, and a second fan located in the second module to suck air from the inside to the outside. The device also contains a radon detector connected to a control unit through which two fans are controlled.
EFFECT: object of the invention is to overcome the known shortcomings of this field of technology, by creating a device for treating air in a confined space, which is efficient and practical, low energy consumption, least bulky, facilitating the installation process, universally suitable for installation in walls of various thicknesses.
