FIELD: means for sound stage rendering.
SUBSTANCE: sound stage reflective objects are analysed to determine a reflective object represented by a first polygon and a second adjacent polygon having associated positions of the first and second image sources. The positions of the first and the second image sources result in a sequence comprising a first visible region associated with the position of the first image source, an invisible region, and a second visible region associated with the position of the second image source. The position of the additional image source is formed in such a way that it is located between the position of the first image source and the position of the second image source. An audio source is prepared by rendering at the position of the first image source when the listener's position is located in the first visible zone, at the position of the additional image source when the listener's position is located in the invisible zone, or at the position of the second image source when the listener's position is located in the second visible zone.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of sound stage rendering.
