FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: drive wheel device contains a hub element and a drive sprocket element connected to the hub element. The drive sprocket element includes an annular drive sprocket having a plurality of teeth located around the circumference of the drive sprocket. The drive sprocket element further includes a support element for the drive sprocket. The drive sprocket is divided into two arc-shaped parts of the drive sprocket. Each part of the drive sprocket, in the unengaged state of the drive sprocket part relative to the endless caterpillar track, is made replaceable. The device includes a guide configuration comprising a first guide member distributed circumferentially around the support member and a second guide member distributed circumferentially around a corresponding portion of the drive sprocket to facilitate reassembly of the drive sprocket. The vehicle contains said drive wheel.
EFFECT: easier maintenance of the drive wheel.
