FIELD: grinding cellulose fibers.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for grinding cellulose fibers to a nanoscale state. A method for nanostructuring cellulose fibers by fibrillation, in which the fibers are partially crushed to primary fibrils, and the cellulose fibers are fibers contained in a cellulose mass selected from a group containing cellulose mass of vegetable origin and their mixtures or fibers contained in kraft cellulose. Cellulose fibers are in the form of a suspension, preferably having a dry matter content of less than 1 wt.%. When In this case, fibrillation is carried out using a bead mill with a ratio of 1:1000 by weight of cellulose microfibres and grinding media and a grinding duration of no more than 1 hour. The grinding product is separated from the beads using a calibration sieve and placed in a container, into which distilled water is then poured and the contents of the container are treated with ultrasound at a frequency of 20 kHz using a homogenizer.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a product with a variable content of nanoparticles in it with dimensions in the required range of 0-180 nm.
