FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of electrical anisotropic steel used for the manufacture of power and distribution magnetic cores of transformers. A composition is proposed for creating an electrical insulating coating on electrical anisotropic steel, containing Al and Mg phosphates, nanodispersed silica and Cr compounds (CrVI+CrIII). As nanodisperse silica, the composition contains monodisperse silica sol, in which 100% of SiO2 particles have a size ranging from more than 15 to 100 nm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain an electrical insulating coating on electrical anisotropic steel, which has high rates of adhesion, resistance coefficient, corrosion and moisture resistance, and presentation.
