FIELD: chemical air regeneration.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for producing products for chemical air regeneration used in life support systems of manned aircrafts. To obtain a product for air regeneration, hydrogen peroxide stabilized by magnesium sulphate is mixed with sodium and potassium hydroxides. The resulting alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide is applied to the porous matrix. Subsequent dehydration of the liquid phase is carried out on the matrix. A highly porous ceramic material is used as a matrix. The material contains an inert filler which is electrofused corundum and the main binder which is semi-porcelain mass PFL-1. Before applying an alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide, the material is kept in an alkali solution with a pH value of 11÷13 for 60÷90 minutes, after which it is washed with distilled water until the pH value is neutral.
EFFECT: obtaining a product for chemical air regeneration that has high mechanical strength and a high degree of carbon dioxide recovery during its operation in the life support systems of manned aircrafts.
