FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: tool for bending beams when performing transpedicular fixation includes a pair of rods, each of which consists of a handle in the central part and working sections at the ends. For each rod, one working section is bent relative to the longitudinal axis of the rod of the central section at an angle from 10 to 30° and is made with a through transverse groove for the beam at the end and a through transverse hole for the beam at the beginning of bending, and the other working section is bent in the same direction with respect to the longitudinal axis of the rod of the central section at an angle from 55 to 75° and is made from the end with a through longitudinal groove for the beam. When both rods are located on a flat surface with a through transverse groove for a beam at the end facing in the opposite direction, the working sections at the ends are bent with respect to the longitudinal axis of the central part of each rod at an angle from 55 to 75° from the end with a through longitudinal groove for the beam, directed in opposite directions from each other.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out a wide range of operations for transpedicular fixation of the spine with modeling of beams and fixation of transpedicular and locking screws, increasing ease of use when bending beams, simplifying modeling, expanding the capabilities of modeling beams with the creation of various bends, reducing the effort spent when modeling beams, and more efficient and faster operation, including ensuring precise bending of beams.
