SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crystalline modification of 2-(diphenylacetyl)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione (difenacin), characterized by the following values of crystallographic cell parameters: space group P 21/c: a = 25.856(1), b = 12.363(1), c = 16.081(1),β = 94.00(1)°, Z= 12. The crystalline modification of 2-(diphenylacetyl)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione according to the invention is carried out by crystallization from a system with the substance diphenacin microencapsulated in phospholipid capsules in the presence of solubilizers representing a mixture of glycerol and dimethyl sulfoxide with inorganic salts Co(+2) in aqueous solution.
EFFECT: crystalline modification of 2-(diphenylacetyl)-1H-indene-1,3(2H)-dione (difenacin), intended for use in rodenticides, which helps to increase the rate of death; reducing the dosage of the substance in preparative forms; obtained by using renewable natural raw materials (lipids) and avoiding mother liquors with a high content of chloroform.
