SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units for burning solid fuels, and can be used for heating buildings, structures, premises, etc. The unit for burning solid fuel comprises a housing made of steel sheet in the form of a horizontal cylinder with blind ends and installed on a foundation. The hatch with a cover is located at one of the ends of the housing in its lower part, and the grate is installed horizontally inside the housing under the technological hatch. The ash removal pipe is installed in the lower part of the housing under the grate. Steel rims made of a plate are mounted rigidly to the wall of the housing from its inner side at a distance from each other, whereas the rims have two rows of holes, the second row of which is located between the holes of the first row. The combustion chamber is installed with a gap inside the body and consists of one or more sections arranged in a row, with each section made of steel rods inserted freely from both ends in two rows with a gap into the holes of the steel rims and located across the body and along the perimeter its surface to the grate configured for their removal from the rims, whereas the second row of rods is located between the rods of the first row and at a distance from them. The sections made of steel rods and making up the combustion chamber are installed in relation to each other for ease of overlapping installation. A hatch with a cover for loading solid fuel into the combustion chamber is located in the side part of the body and in its centre, and the rods laid on the rims have an opening located under the loading hatch, with a removable cover made of rods installed on the opening. The two ends of the furnace body consist of one or more sections, to the frames of which, on the inside, removable steel rods are laid horizontally in a row with a gap. The smoke afterburning chamber is installed outside the furnace body on its upper part and consists of two blind cylinders inserted into each other with a gap, whereas in the gap formed between the cylinders, plates are installed along the inner cylinder along it at a distance from each other, the ends of which end flush with the end of the inner cylinder, at one of the ends of the outer cylinder a pipe for supplying air into the gap is coaxially installed, and at the other end of the outer cylinder there is another pipe for the passage of smoke with unburned solid fuel residues, connecting the combustion chamber with the inner cylinder of the smoke afterburning chamber. The end of the inner cylinder where the pipe for the passage of smoke is located nearby is open for the passage of air inside the inner cylinder. The stack is installed vertically at the other end of the inner cylinder, and collectors for uniform supply of air to the cavities formed by the body, rims and combustion chamber are installed outside the furnace body along it on its upper part and on its sides.
EFFECT: complete combustion of fuel and reduced toxicity of harmful substances in flue gases.
