SUBSTANCE: present description relates to an axial holding assembly for combustion chamber components of a gas turbine engine. The axial containment assembly includes combustion chamber 14 having lining 38 and housing 58, where housing 58 includes flange 70 spaced from lining 38 along the axial centreline of the combustion chamber. In addition, the axial retaining assembly includes mounting plate 118 having first end 114 releasably coupled to flange 70 and second end 116 disposed radially inwardly from housing 70. In addition, the axial holding assembly includes clamp 108 releasably coupled to liner 38. In addition, the axial retaining assembly includes tension rod 110 connected to second end 116 of mounting plate 118 and clamp 108 to reduce relative movement between liner 38 and housing 58 along the axial centreline.

EFFECT: reducing or preventing axial movement between the combustion chamber lining and the combustion chamber body during transportation of the combustion chamber and manipulations with it.
