FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention belongs to devices for mechanization of track work and is intended for lubricating the threads of terminal and embedded bolts of rail fastenings. A feature of the claimed invention is the presence of a crank mechanism, which, after the device has passed a distance of 550 mm (a full revolution of a support wheel with a diameter of 175.2 mm), presses the foam rubber jaws to the ends of the terminal and mounting bolts, and the lubricating fluid flows down the threads. When the support wheel pin leaves the groove, the spring returns the crank mechanism to its original position. If the sleeper pitch does not match (550 mm), manual control of the bolt lubrication process is provided.
EFFECT: time required to carry out the operation of lubricating the terminal and insert bolts of the rail fastenings is reduced, which is achieved by using support wheels, with a full rotation of which the lubricating device reciprocates due to the crank mechanism.
