FIELD: power plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power plants with fuel cells (EC with FC) with hydrogen storage devices in the form of an intermetallic alloy. The power plant comprises a thermochemical reactor for producing hydrogen, a reservoir for storing liquid hydrogen-comprising fuel, a tank for collecting reaction water, water and fuel pumps, hydrogen storage tanks comprising an intermetallic alloy, each of which is equipped with two independent heat exchangers for hydrogen absorption and desorption, operating alternately.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and cost-effectiveness of operating a power plant by equipping power plants with fuel cells with hydrogen storage devices comprising an intermetallic alloy, cooled during absorption by liquid hydrogen-comprising fuel, and heated during desorption by reaction water from a battery of fuel cells.
