FIELD: UAV.
SUBSTANCE: device for charging a UAV from an overhead power line (OHL) wire contains a charging station placed on the overhead line wire, and an adapter for the charging station placed on the UAV. The charging station contains a frame with a landing platform made of dielectric material, made with the possibility of fixing the UAV on the platform, as well as with the possibility of fixing the charging station on the overhead line after it is dropped from the UAV, a power take-off device, a station battery, a rectifier, a charging and battery protection system, an alternating pulse generator and a transmitting inductor. The UAV adapter contains a receiving inductor, a rectifier, and a UAV battery charging control system.
EFFECT: simplified process and increased reliability of charging UAV batteries from an overhead line.
