FIELD: electrical communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installation of equipment on wire. The device for installation of equipment on a wire comprises a frame having the shape of a wedge, in the upper part of which there is a mount for installing the device into the lock, fixed on the UAV delivering the device to the wire, the frame contains equipment attachment points located in the lower part of the frame, wherein the wedge angle is made rounded, providing fixation of the device on the wire after dropping the device from the UAV delivering the device to the wire.
EFFECT: simplification and increase of reliability of the process of equipment installation on the overhead line wire, and increase of universality of the device for equipment installation.
