FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises: a frame on which a helicopter-type aircraft comprising at least four air propellers is mounted; a drive system made in the form of rollers; a control system and a device for taking off power from the wire of aerial power lines. The power take-off device comprises at least two steel magnetically conductive half rings with windings fixed on separate plates which are arranged with the possibility of passage of the wire of aerial power lines between them, jointed together by a spring and connected to the frame with hinges to enable the plates to be closed and opened in such a way that the magnetically conductive half rings with windings can form a closed loop. The plates on the opposite side of the hinges are made with an outwardly inclined internal edge, and the terminals of the windings are connected via a voltage regulator and a current rectifier to the battery, which is also mounted on the frame.
EFFECT: simplified process of installing the device on the wire, providing the possibility to move along it.
