FIELD: radio communication.
SUBSTANCE: method for unlocking an immobilizer and starting a vehicle engine. The method consists of exchanging data between on-board and portable transmitting and receiving devices via radio communication. Radio communication is formed in the area of interaction between transmitting and receiving devices. Onboard and portable transceiver devices are configured in advance with the possibility of forming a duplex communication line operating in a cyclic channel change algorithm. If the on -board transceiver receives reliable data, the immobilizer is unlocked and the ban on keyless starting of the vehicle engine is lifted.
EFFECT: provision of immobilizer unlocking and keyless engine starting via a short-range radio communication line under the influence of external electromagnetic fields.
