FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: nuclear geophysical methods for studying cased oil and gas and oil and gas condensate wells and is intended for assessing oil saturation - the content of liquid hydrocarbons in productive reservoirs of oil and gas (OG) and oil and gas condensate (OGC) deposits. The device contains a security housing in which a common stationary neutron source (NS), detectors of small (MZ NNK-T) and large (BZ NNK-T) thermal neutron probes, detectors of small (MZ NNK-Nt) and large (BZ NNK-Nt) probes for epithermal neutrons, located on one side of the IN, and is additionally equipped with a middle probe (SZ NNK-Nt) for epithermal neutrons installed between the MH NNK-T and the MH NNK-Nt, with the detectors SZ NNK-Nt and MH NNK -NT placed in a common screen made of polyamide, which is covered with a common cadmium screen installed around the perimeter of these probes and separated from the IN by a solid polyamide screen; in addition, the BZ NNK-Nt detector is protected by a polyamide screen, which is additionally covered with a cadmium screen installed around the perimeter of the probe.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the assessment of oil saturation (liquid hydrocarbon content) of reservoirs (formations) of cased oil and gas and oil and gas condensate wells, including those containing tubing, in reservoirs with high salinity of formation waters, allowing to give a forecast for the extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from productive reservoirs collectors.
