FIELD: carbon fibres.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing finished carbon fibres and can be used as structural polymer materials for the production of special-purpose products in additive technologies. The method for producing dressed carbon fibres intended for special-purpose products in additive technologies is based on dressing carbon fibre by applying a sizing component from a solution, followed by drying in an oven under vacuum at 50-51°C, while the sizing composition, which is an epoxy-oligoester based on epichlorohydrin and phenolphthalein with a degree of polymerization n = 5-7, is applied from solutions with a concentration of 0.13-0.39 wt.% in dichloromethane and a stepwise increase in temperature with simultaneous distillation of the solvent is carried out according to the following regime: 20°C - 5 min; 25°C - 5 min; 30°C - 5 min; 35°C - 5 min; 40°C - 10 min, and the quantitative ratio of the components corresponds, wt.%: carbon fibre - 97–99, epoxy oligoester – 3–1. The invention also relates to a carbon fibre polyether ether ketone composite, intended as structural polymer materials for the production of special-purpose products in additive technologies, based on polyether ether ketone and carbon fibre obtained by the method of producing coated carbon fibres, with the following ratio of components in the polyether ether ketone composite, wt. %: polyether ether ketone – 80, dressed carbon fibre – 20.
EFFECT: developing a method for producing dressed carbon fibres with a shorter dressing process and polyether ether ketone composites based on them with higher values of physical and mechanical properties, based on a polyether ether ketone matrix polymer filled with dressed carbon fibre.
