FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used in the design and construction of pressure soil structures, such as dams, banks, where various types of diaphragms are used as an anti-filtration device. In a soil dam with a clay-cement concrete diaphragm with an adjustable stress-strain state, including a dam body 1 made of soil material, a clay-cement concrete diaphragm 2 made by the method of secant piles, transition zones in the form of a reverse filter 3 with a self-healing sand layer, section 4 of the clay-cement concrete diaphragm 2, replacing traditional cementation of the base, according to the invention, the diaphragm 2 is made of at least four zones over its area, filled with clay-cement concrete having a deformation modulus in the range from above 1 to 5 times higher than the deformation modulus of the surrounding soil of the dam body 1, with each zone characterized by a deformation modulus, different in value from the deformation modulus of other zones, to ensure minimization of tensile stresses arising in diaphragm 2.
EFFECT: reduction in the possibility of cracking and horizontal deformations (displacements) of the clay-cement concrete diaphragm by controlling the conditions, namely their strength and deformation characteristics that form its stress-strain state.
