FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in automated fire extinguishing systems, in particular in automated fire extinguishing systems for military tracked vehicles. The fire extinguishing system of a vehicle contains thermal sensors located in fire hazardous areas of the vehicle, a control unit, an alarm unit, cylinders with fire extinguishing liquid and inert gas under high pressure, made in the form of a cylindrical body with a filling neck in its lower part with a pressure alarm, a squib, a punch pin, and a safety membrane. The novelty is that the body of each cylinder is made of two parts hermetically connected to each other, between which an elastic diaphragm is installed inside the body, fixed along the contour between the two parts of the body, separating the inert gas and the extinguishing liquid, while the filling neck is made in the upper part, in which a capacitive sensor is installed, one plate of which is fixed to the elastic diaphragm, its other plate is fixed to the specified filling neck, and the plates are isolated from the cylinder body, while the fire extinguishing system contains an information device for monitoring the mass of the fire-extinguishing liquid in the cylinder.
EFFECT: creation of a vehicle fire extinguishing system that allows to control the mass of fire extinguishing liquid without removing the cylinder.
