FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting equipment, namely to a vehicle fire extinguishing system, comprising thermal sensors located in fire hazardous areas of the vehicle, a control unit, an alarm unit, cylinders, each of which contains extinguishing liquid and inert gas under high pressure, wherein every cylinder is composed of cylindrical vessel with filler neck at its bottom and pyrocartridge aligned with said filler neck, punch and safety membrane. Novelty is that in the filling neck there are two pressure sensors, wherein the first sensor is located diametrically to the filling nozzle, the second sensor is located radially to the first sensor, wherein a cylindrical tube supplying pressure to the sensor from the upper part of the cylinder is connected to the second sensor, wherein the fire extinguishing system comprises an information device for controlling the mass of the extinguishing liquid in the cylinder, which is configured to receive signals from the first and second pressure sensors. Invention can be used in automated fire extinguishing systems, in particular in automated fire extinguishing systems of military tracked vehicles.
EFFECT: creation of vehicle fire extinguishing system allowing to control mass of extinguishing liquid without removal of cylinder.
