FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to small-sized tracked all-terrain vehicles with electromechanical transmissions. The all-terrain vehicle contains a power frame, tracked propulsion systems, an internal combustion engine generator, two gas tanks, two traction motors, an energy storage device and a control unit. Traction electric motors are installed in the front part of the power frame in a block with gearboxes and are connected to the drive wheel assembly by a cardan transmission to organize the front drive of the tracked propulsion unit. The internal combustion engine generator is installed on the floor of the power frame in its rear part. The energy storage device is installed on the floor of the power frame between the traction motors and gas tanks.
