FIELD: gas turbine engine technology.
SUBSTANCE: repair of cooled turbine blades of a gas turbine engine when restoring the chord line of the feather. Using a laser radiation supply device, spherical deposits of metal or metal-ceramic powder are formed along the perimeter of the airfoil restoration area of the gas turbine engine blades. Laser radiation is supplied in short pulses of 0.1-0.2 seconds, with a power of 100-600 W. A platform is formed from spherical deposits, then metal or metal-ceramic powder is fused onto the surface of the platform.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent the edge of a gas turbine engine blade from melting.
