FIELD: testing of materials.
SUBSTANCE: stand for testing road surfaces for wear resistance contains a drum, on the outer surface of which there is a ring-shaped road surface to be examined, made of joined fragments in the form of arcuate sectors, fixed on the outer annular surface of the drum by means of bandage tapes covering these sectors along their edges. Each unit for fastening automobile rims with a tire is configured to bring the tires to the road surface and load them with external pressure acting towards this surface. The unit for fastening automobile rims with tires is made in the form of a balancer, pivotally connected to one end by a crank, the other end is rotatably mounted on the base, and on the free ends of which the specified rims are secured with the possibility of free rotation. In this case, said crank is connected to a unit for moving it in the direction of bringing the disk tires into contact with the road surface and to a unit for moving it across the road surface.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the results obtained.
