FIELD: insect breeding.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to insect hatching and, in particular, to the separation of insect eggs from other components of the egg-laying medium. The insect egg-laying medium comprises at least 80 wt.% of a solid substrate in particulate form, and at least 85 wt.% of the said particles less than 0.5 mm in size, the percentage by weight being relative to the total weight of the insect-oviposition medium. The invention also relates to an egg laying tray and its use, in particular according to a method of collecting insects’ eggs.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase production density, reproduction efficiency and productivity.
