SUBSTANCE: growing systems and methods for growing insects using these systems used to obtain protein, in particular, in the food industry. The insect growing system includes a compartment for incubating insect eggs, a compartment for moving insects hatched from eggs, an insect growth compartment, in which the compartment for incubating insect eggs includes a climate system, at least one tray with insect eggs placed in an artificial substrate; the compartment for moving insects hatched from eggs is a structure with at least two inclined walls; the insect growth compartment includes a climate system, at least one insectarium module, into which insects hatched from eggs are moved through the specified movement compartment, configured to accommodate at least one tray from the insect egg incubation compartment. The insect growth compartment of the insect growing system includes a climate system, at least one insectarium module, which includes an insect habitat made in the form of a lattice; a system for supplying food to insects, which includes a feeder-dispenser configured to automatically supply food, and a drinker configured to automatically supply water; systems for collecting and separating waste and insect biomass; at least one insect oviposition tray containing an artificial substrate; a system for moving the insectarium module through the insect growth compartment, while the climate system is designed to change the habitat conditions of insects from the beginning of their growth to the development of an adult insect in such a way that the temperature increases from 30-32°C to 32-34°C and the relative humidity decreases from 50-55% to 30-35%.
EFFECT: continuous process of growing insects while reducing the age spread of insects within one batch with the possibility of scaling this process to increase the amount of insect biomass.
