FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: used for installing stepped shafts when processing them on metal-cutting machines. The device contains a housing with grooves, a drive with a rod mounted on the housing, two clamping mechanisms, one of which is self-centering, and a transmission link, each of the clamping mechanisms includes two jaws installed opposite each other on the corresponding slides, which are located in the grooves of the housing with the ability to move to bring the jaws together and apart, and a pusher placed in the guides of the housing with the ability to move along its longitudinal axis, wherein the jaws of the self-centering clamping mechanism are made prismatic, and the transmission link is installed on the drive rod with the ability to rotate around an axis located perpendicularly longitudinal axis of the rod. In this case, the device is equipped with a rod, a rocker, additional pushers, one for each of the clamping mechanisms, placed in the housing guides with the ability to move along its longitudinal axis, and a tray with a ledge made on the body, while on the sides of each pair of sliders there are inclined guides relative to their longitudinal axes with protrusions located in different directions to each other, at one end of all pushers there are grooves located so as to mate with the mentioned inclined protrusions, the rod is fixed to the pushers of the self-centering clamping mechanism, and the jaws of the second clamping mechanism are made flat, and the rocker is made with a spherical surface in its middle part, and at the ends - with elongated grooves and is placed between a pair of pushers of the second clamping mechanism with the possibility of pairing its elongated grooves with cylindrical axes mounted on the other ends of the mentioned pair of pushers, while the transmission link is made in the form of a double-armed lever with elongated grooves at the ends of its arms and is placed with one of the mentioned grooves mating with the rod, and radial grooves made on the sides of the other groove with the spherical surface of the rocker.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of shaft installation when processing it on a machine.
