SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for purifying a crude composition, including rectifying the crude composition in a distillation unit, including a distillation column in which there is an upper condenser for condensing the head fraction and a reboiler for evaporating the bottom fraction, and the difference between the temperature of the head fraction and the temperature of the bottom fraction is not more than 20°. The heat pump operates between the upper condenser and the reboiler, while the heat pump is completely separated from the process to eliminate any contamination, while the heat pump is an indirect heat pump, which uses water or methanol as the refrigerant wherein the indirect heat pump includes an expansion valve and a compressor, wherein the heat pump includes an end condenser that is located upstream of the compressor, wherein the tube space of the first upper condenser is connected to the second condenser through an inlet pipe, and the second condenser is connected with the pipe space of the first upper condenser via an outlet pipe. The invention also relates to a rectification plant.
EFFECT: reduction in energy consumption at the installation boundary.
