BREW RECTIFICATION PLANT FOR PRODUCTION OF FOOD ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: distillation industry. SUBSTANCE: plant comprises brew, epuration, rectification, final treatment and extraction-rectification columns interconnected by a system of pipes, their dephlegmators and condensers, a brew heater and separator, steam-jet compressors, evaporators, pumps and a vacuum pump. It also has a condensing-evaporating apparatus for fuller recuperation of heat of distillery dregs and provides for two-stage condensing of steam of brew distillate. The use of condenser in the extraction- rectification column in the capacity of evaporator of alcohol final cleaning column permits rational utilization of heat of water-alcohol steam in the extraction- rectification column. The fusel alcohol bleed pipes of the rectification column are connected to the upper part of the epuration column which stabilizes the quality of alcohol by degustation assessment. The heat exchangers in the condensing-evaporating apparatus are beer heaters and evaporator of final alcohol-cleaning column. EFFECT: lower consumption of heat and energy. 4 cl, 1 dwg
