FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: from a weapon mounted on a weapon mounting machine, a projectile is fired in the direction of fire while flying past a millimetre stand, which is illuminated by two spotlights. The spotlights are installed in such a way that the illumination sector is directed at one of the planes of the millimetre stand. When a projectile passes, shadow projections appear on each plane of the millimetre stand. When they are video recorded, a high-speed camera takes readings of the movement of both the projectile itself and its shadow projections of nutation angles, then the data is sent to a laptop with software for processing the data and displaying their quantitative characteristics on the display.
EFFECT: expansion of the information content of the external trajectory data of the spatial movement of the projectile.
