SUBSTANCE: means for indicating a sunken object. The means for indicating a sunken object contains a housing with an opening for water inlet, a hydrostat, an ejector spring and a battery-piston, configured to interact in series. There is also a float device with a replaceable unit of a personal emergency beacon in a container and a light-signal device, a cable connecting the piston battery with a personal emergency beacon in a container and a light-signal device. The piston battery pushes out the cable with the float, the personal emergency beacon unit in the container and the light-signal device from the body of the device, while contacting the mechanical contactor. The body of the product is equipped with removable tear-off eyelets to facilitate the release of the product from the object. There is also a magnet for attaching the body of the device to the surface of an object and an additional magnet in case of attachment to a non-magnetic surface of the object.
