FIELD: compressors.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid compressor (8) for compressing the working medium, wherein the compressor contains the first cylinder (1) and the second cylinder (2), connected to each other mechanically through a connecting rod-crank system (5) and pneumatically through a connecting circuit (12), possibly with an optional valve (4), a reversible electric machine (6), wherein the first cylinder includes the first piston (81) that separates the first chamber (Ch1) from the second chamber (Ch2), wherein the second cylinder contains the second piston (82) that separates the third chamber (Ch3) from the fourth chamber (Ch4), which can come into thermal contact with the heat source (21), thus creating a cyclic movement in the second cylinder, and, as for the connecting rod-crank system (5), then the first piston and the second piston are connected to the rotor (52) through the corresponding first and second connecting rod and crank mechanisms (91, 92) with a predetermined angular displacement (θd), with the first cylinder equipped with check valves (61, 62), with the power produced in the second cylinder being transmitted to the first cylinder primarily through the connecting circuit rather than through the connecting rod and crank system.
