SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to a vortex eliminator of a cyclone separator and to a vacuum cleaner containing such a vortex eliminator. The vortex eliminator for a cyclone separator contains a plurality of fixed blades around which the incoming air is directed into the vortex eliminator. The side of the blades facing the incoming air is equipped with a protrusion at the point of inhibited flow. The protrusion is shaped in such a way as to direct the incoming air into the vortex eliminator. The protrusion has a concave shape, repeating the shape of the adjacent blade. The protrusion has a rounded top. The vacuum cleaner contains a cyclone separator having the above-mentioned vortex eliminator.
EFFECT: reduced contamination without affecting the separation efficiency or pressure loss.
