FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrolytic production of aluminium, namely to the anode structure of aluminium electrolysers. The electrolyser contains a steel casing, heat-insulating brickwork, a coal lining, a busbar, cathode and anode devices, wherein the anode device consists of burnt carbon blocks, in the upper half of which there are vertical holes in the form of truncated cones, resting at the intersection of slotted grooves, and a lower diameter which are 1.6-2 times larger than the top one and amount to 80-90 mm in the amount of 12 pieces, and in the lower half there are longitudinal and transverse slotted grooves, the ratio of the height of the groove to the height of the vertical holes is 1:1, and their number is 7 pieces, considering that there are 3 longitudinal ones and 4 transverse ones.
EFFECT: reduction in the resulting gas layer by 2.3 times.
