SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preventing birth and postpartum complications in cows. A method of the prevention of birth and postpartum complications in cows includes the use in the main diet of a powder of high molecular weight humic and fulvic acids of the following composition, by weight: dry matter at least 80%, 15–20% of moisture, and the composition of the dry matter, by weight, includes: 80–90% of humic acids, 10–20% of fulvic acids, while the powder is evenly distributed in the mass of feed or feed raw materials at a dosage of 80 g per day per head, and fed during the dry period of 60 days.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent the pathology of the birth and postpartum period.
