FIELD: chemical technology for producing composite material.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the production of lithium-ion batteries as an anode base. A method for producing anode material for lithium-ion batteries based on silicon includes heat treatment of a powder mixture of aluminium trifluoride and metallic aluminium and silicon dioxide powder at a temperature of 900-1100°C at heating rate 1÷5°C/min and pressure 1÷100 Pa in a stream of carbon dioxide supplied at a rate of 0.5÷2.0 cm3/min. Aluminium and aluminium trifluoride are taken in the ratio, wt.%: aluminium:aluminium trifluoride = 13÷40: 60÷87, and silicon dioxide is taken in the amount of 15÷35 wt.% of the total mass of aluminium and aluminium fluoride.
EFFECT: scalability and instrumental simplicity of the process using available reagents.
