SUBSTANCE: after placing a flexible vein extractor in the lumen of the great saphenous vein and fixing the proximal and distal sections of the trunk of the great saphenous vein to the corresponding ends of the probe, paravasal injection is performed along the fascial sheath along the great saphenous vein from the medial malleolus to the level of the upper third of the leg of 150–250 ml of a solution containing 250 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride and 0.25 ml of 0.1% epinephrine. 5 minutes after administration of the solution, traction of the great saphenous vein, fixed to the probe, is performed in the antegrade direction. After stripping, compression is applied along the removed trunk of the saphenous vein. Next, the inguinal access is sutured with a cosmetic suture, an aseptic bandage is applied, and elastic bandaging is completed to the level of the groin.

EFFECT: method allows to improve treatment results by reducing the severity of postoperative hematoma and increasing the cosmetic result.
