FIELD: medicine, vascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should isolate and cross initial department of patient's great subcutaneous vein being to the front against median ankle, apply a catheter into vein's proximal end in antegrade direction up to knee level to fill the part of great subcutaneous vein at a shin with scleropreparation. The method enables to exclude the chance for the development of complications associated with operative interference at sapheno-femoral anastomosis, decrease traumatism of operation, simplify the technique of operative interference and shorten its duration, improve cosmetic effect and conduct operation under out-patient conditions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
