METHOD OF MECHANIC-CHEMICAL OBLITERATION OF A SHAFT OF A LARGE OR SMALL SAPHENOUS VEIN WITH APPLICATION OF CROSS-ECTOMY IN VARICOSE VEINS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2699009 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to phlebology. From the separate puncture at the level of the distal reflux into the proximal segment of the major or minor saphenous vein olive forward, a device is introduced, which is a flexible probe of the Babcock test type. Olive is delivered to a cross-section of the greater saphenous vein in the groin area and the olive is replaced with the "Spider" nozzle. At that, the "Spider" nozzle, which is a threaded nozzle, has five micro-hooks on the end, which is carried out inside the vein along the entire length of the saphenous vein until a lower puncture, injuring the intimal and medial layers of the vein. Proximal end of the vein of the saphenous vein is sutured and ligatured, then a catheter for sclero-obliteration is introduced into the lumen of the subcutaneous vein, and a foam solution of 3 % Aethoxysklerol is introduced.

EFFECT: method enables painless and highly effective surgical management of varicose veins ensured by the sclerosant action on both the intimal layer and the medial layer of the vein, reducing intraoperative injuries and reducing the risk of recurrences and recanalization of veins.
