FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: at the time of generation of an electronic document, an information block is formed, which is an electronic document created by combining a subset of content and a subset of static metadata records, on which cryptographic transformation operations are simultaneously performed. Integrity of an electronic document is monitored on the basis of content data and calculated values of its signatures of metadata records and their signatures of common signatures of root signatures of metadata records, common root signatures of an electronic document, as well as root signatures of the life cycle of the electronic document that have undergone the storage procedure and are subject to integrity control.
EFFECT: improved level of security of electronic documents due to the ability to control their integrity, as well as to detect and localize content and metadata records that have undergone unauthorized modification by authorized users.
