FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design of autonomous integrated power supply systems for populated areas, small industrial enterprises and agricultural facilities. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the method of processing solid fuel using solar energy is characterized by the fact that it includes stages in which: a) air is compressed in a low or medium pressure compressor; b) the compressed air flow is divided - one part is sent to a solar air heater located on the tower, and the other part is supplied to the steam boiler; c) the flux of solar radiation enters the surface of the heliostats, is reflected and concentrated on the surface of the solar air heater; d) the external receiving surface transfers heat to the porous insert of the solar air heater, through the pores of which heated air passes; d) heated to high temperature (600-850°C), the air is directed to the gas generator, where crushed solid fuel is supplied; f) sludge is removed from the gas generator for further processing; g) the gas mixture from the gas generator is supplied to a steam boiler, which is connected to a steam turbine that generates electrical energy; h) gases leaving the steam boiler enter the atmosphere. Also, in the method of processing solid fuel using solar energy, to operate the installation in the dark, a generator gas storage facility is used, which is filled with a gasifier during daylight hours, when solar radiation is sufficient to heat the air to the required gasification temperature of the solid fuel.
